On Apr. 20, the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce and Striped Bass Festival hosted a 5k run at the Santee Dam. The top three male participants were Barry Hiott, Robbie Ouzts, and Cotton Carroway. The top three female participants were Sarah Hannon, Hannah Hall, and Mindy Sandifer. For the 13 and under division, the male and female winners were Finley Hiott and Ashton Mims. The 14-19 division did not have a male winner and the female winner was Meri Ellen Johnson. For 20-29, Frank Drose and Dakota Stephen were the winners. For 30-39, the winners were husband and wife, Sean Davila and Terra Davila. The 40-49 division winners were Jacob Brown and Tammy Griffith and the 50-59 winners were Miguel Fleitas and Angela Witherspoon. The winners for the 60-69 division were John Barwick and Cheryl Sinden. Lastly, the 70+ winners were Timothy Rectenwald and Harriet Holladay.
